Two women, somewhat over dressed for a car boot sale in high heels and floral summer dresses, were lingering by a trestle table weighed down with unwanted knick-knacks.
As one admired a half empty bottle of scent, the other picked up a white china bowl.
After examining it carefully, she waved it in front of her friend.
“I used to collect white china,” she said. ‘But then I had a hysterectomy.”
