IT’S ALL THOSE HORMONES RELEASING

Fulfilling their new year resolutions, a couple walked through the gym reception area. While she looked tired and sweaty, he was jigging around doing mini star-jumps.

“I feel so good after that workout,” he said, flinging his arm round her slumped shoulders. “Don’t you?”

“I guess,” she replied.

“Oh, you’ll get into it. I feel great.” He did a quick speed-jog on the spot. “It’s all those hormones releasing.”

“Is it?” she said, with little enthusiasm.

“Yes. It’s fantastic once that oestrogen kicks in.”

“Don’t you mean endorphins?” she asked.

“Oh yes, those too,” said the man as he star-jumped through the door.
